We are pleased to announce that due to the low COVID-19 infection rate, the Broward County Schools have decided to make mask wearing strongly recommended but NOT REQUIRED for students in the classroom. This means after November 20, 2021, Sawgrass Adventist school will no longer require students to wear masks to be in school.
In that light, we are asking parents to please fill out the "Mask Opt-Out" form if you DO NOT wish for your student to be required to wear a mask while in the care of Sawgrass Adventist School.
In order to help us know how to best serve you, please fill out the form to give your child permission to attend classes mask free. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you will still want your child to continue to wear a face covering. Some parents may choose to continue to mask their children and some may choose not to; that is ok.
A special thank you to all of you who have worked with us to keep our school safe and our student body healthy during this last outbreak. With your continued support we are looking forward to a happy and healthy new year and a wonderful second semester.
